Fiberglass Tape
Woven Fiberglass Tapes
are manufactured from continuous filament texturized fiberglass yarns and
woven into a strong and flexible tape. Excellent for protecting various
equipment and apparatus from heat. Available in both plain and drop
warp. Good to temperatures of 1000°F / 550°C. For additional temperature
resistance, any of the woven tape styles can be coated with vermiculite for
short term services to 1500°F.

Silica Tape
Maxsil® Silica Tapes
are made from texturized amorphous silica filament yarn and woven into a
strong and flexible form, for service up to 2000°F / 1100°C. Because the
yarn is texturized into a bulky form, it provides excellent insulating
values. Maxsil® Silica Tapes are not made from leached fiberglass tapes,
resulting in a much more wear resistant finished product.

Tadpole Tape

Standard Boiler Tadpole Tape
is manufactured from Style MM5594 Brass Wire INserted unducred
natural rubber coated fabric as the outer cover and FRB-Soft and
FRB-Dense Rope as the core. Designed for use in low pressure gasket
applications of 300 psi maximum and temperatures to 500°F. Excellent
for service against steam, water, air and gases. |
| Dry Stitched Fiberglass Tadpole
Tape is manufactured from fiberglas
cloth and formed over a dense knitted fiberglass rope. A good gasket
material for sealing of flanges and where low bolt force is applied.
For service temperatures to 1000°F. |

Tape with Inconel Mesh Core
is manufactured from fiberglass cloth and formed over an inconel
mesh core. A good gasket material for sealing of flanges and where
low bolt force is applied. For service temperatures to 1000°F. |
The standard shape
utilizes a single bulb, which is available in 3/8" to 1" in diameter and an
overall tape width of 1" to 3". Available lengths: 25, 50, 100 feet.
