Open Cell FDA Silicone
Open Cell Silicone Foam is used in applications where a lightweight, easy to compress material is desired. It is resistant to extremely high and low temperatures, and has a very low compression. It meets the requirements of FDA regulation 21 CFR 177.2600. This material is non-toxic, non-flammable, much lighter in weight, and has virtually no outgassing. It has a smooth skin on both sides and is also available with Pressure Sensitive Adhesive on one or both sides.
