Closed Cell EPDM Blend
EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) closed cell sponge material exhibits very good aging properties, compressibility, and has an excellent resistance to ozone and oxidation. Our closed cell EPDM sponge is available in soft and medium densities, and each offers a unique set of physical properties.
Resistance to:
- ACID - excellent
- ALKALI - excellent
- GASOLINE AND OIL - poor
- AROMATIC HYDROCARBONS - fair
- OZONE - excellent
- KETONES - fair
- CHLORINATED SOLVENTS - poor
- OXIDATION - excellent
Advanced Gasket manufactures gaskets, seals, and custom die-cut parts in EPDM foam. Our closed cell EPDM sponge is available in soft and medium & firm densities, with or without adhesive. We also custom slit to width foam strips.
